Traditional French

There are two things that struck me from the topic today, which is Traditional French Culture Studies. The first is my own experiences are the norm, not those who have exaggerated realities. Second, is that consumption has turned into a form production.

The first topic struck me because ever since I was young I had a dream of becoming a princess. I grew out of that during my adolescences, but still I dreamed of finding my prince and living in a castle. Being a young woman today, I focused more on my studies, where I will work, but somehow I still have that feeling that I will wait for my prince to save me. Learning about Hyperreality from Post-modernism, made me first understand, that what I have been dreaming of is only a simulation, but the Traditional French Culture Studies continues it to make me more understand that my own everyday experiences is more important than the hyperreality that controlled me.
As I venture with out my dream of a happy ending, I understand that life is not just all about the ending, but it is about the moments you live in it. My dream of a happy ever after, before, made me depressed about not having a boy friend. But now without that standard, I feel like I could live my life better.

The Second thing that struck me was that consumption has turned into a form production. This point, because of the reporter’s example, struck me, which is clothing. Not only because of clothing, but because my friends and I are thinking of a business. Because we still do not have the means to make a full-fledged business, we plan to open up a stall in a bazaar selling cupcakes. We know that competition is big in the food industry that is why we are still formulating our concept that grasp the identity of people, much like the transformation of mass produced commodities into the hands of consumers. We still need to clarify it, but it will surely set us apart from other food business.
